Regular Nissan Teana daytime running lights J32 2008-2014 with turn signal mode. The popular business sedan is still in high demand in the secondary market. It has not lost its attractiveness in appearance, its design does not look outdated. Technical solutions and electronic driver assistance units were advanced at the time of its release and remain at the proper level in our time. The only thing that differs from the new generation is the daytime running lights. Nissan Teana J32 running lights are designed to improve the visibility of the vehicle during daylight hours on public roads. According to Russian legislation, all vehicles must travel during the day with running lights or low beam headlights. The use of running lights significantly reduces the load on the generator (compared to the use of low-beam headlights as running lights), and also reduces the accident rate during daylight hours. Thanks to the manufacturers of running lights, a standard model of Nissan Teana J32 LED running lights has been developed, which are installed in the front part of the bumper and meets all the standards for location and brightness of the Russian Technical Regulations.

The body of the Nissan Teana running lights is made of plastic, coated with “Chrome” on the front part, and completely replicates the original front bumper molding. The LED chips of running devices are covered with transparent polycarbonate with diffusers; there is protection against overheating and incorrect connection. The running modules emit pure, powerful white light (color temperature 5500 K) in DRL mode. When the turn indicator is turned on, the orange LEDs on the running modules light up and blink in time with the main turn indicators.

Installing and connecting LED running lights is not difficult. Installation of running modules can be done independently according to the instructions included in the delivery kit, or you should contact a qualified auto electrician at a specialized car service center.

When sent, a set of running devices is packaged in cardboard packaging or bubble wrap, which prevents damage during transportation.

Installation of running LED modules is carried out in standard bumper seats, instead of the original molding without modifications. The running light housing is equipped with latches for installation and fastening. When installing running light modules, no changes to the vehicle design are required. The electronic control unit regulates the operating parameters of running accessories; it is possible to disable the DRL mode when the low beam headlights are turned on.

Delivery set: Nissan Teana 2 LED running lights (right and left module), control unit, electrical wiring, connection instructions.

You can buy Nissan Teana J32 LED daytime running lights with delivery throughout Russia, both with cash on delivery (payment upon receipt) and with 100% prepayment (in this case, a 3% discount).

The Nissan Teana sedan (J31) has become the next business class car in the Japanese manufacturer’s lineup. In 2003, it replaced the Maxima (Cefiro) model. In South Korea it is sold under the name Samsung SM5. In 2006, Teana was restyled; the changes were only cosmetic in nature (they affected the bumpers, false radiator grille, front and rear optics, and interior design).

And at the Beijing Auto Show 2008, the 2nd generation Nissan Teana debuted in the J32 body. The sedan retained the proportions of its predecessor, but began to look more solid and modern. More smooth lines appeared in the exterior design, which also carried over into the interior.

In general, the Nissan Teana (J32), whose dimensions are 4,850 x 1,795 x 1,495 / 1,515 mm, looks expensive, and from some angles and individual details it can resemble premium models from Mercedes, Lexus and, of course, Infiniti. Large faceted taillights and headlights, a large chrome radiator grille, shiny moldings along the perimeter of the body - everything has an impressive appearance and makes the car recognizable.

The Nissan Teana interior has 2 massive seats, massive central pillars, and a wide tunnel between the driver and passenger. Fabric, wood trim, leather, even plastic - everything looks appropriate, solid, expensive and modern. The transparent roof adds headroom. The controls for auxiliary systems on the Tiana are not for everyone: some people like to press buttons, while others like to turn the “wheels”.

On the Russian market, the Nissan Teana J32 sedan is available with one of three engines. The base is an inline four-cylinder 16-valve power unit with a displacement of 2.5 liters. The maximum power of this engine in the all-wheel drive version is achieved at 5,600 rpm. and is 123 kW (167 hp), maximum torque of 240 Nm is available at 4,000 rpm.

The second engine for the Nissan Teana 2 has a similar displacement (2.5 liters), but a V-shaped layout and six cylinders. Its maximum power is 134 kW (182 hp) at 6,000 rpm and peak torque is 228 Nm at 4,400 rpm. Both of these engines can consume gasoline with an octane rating of at least 92.

The flagship in the line of power units for the Nissan Teana (J32) is a 3.5-liter V6 with four valves per cylinder. Engine performance: maximum power - 183 kW (249 hp) at 6,000 rpm, maximum torque - 326 Nm at 4,400 rpm.

The engine must be operated on AI-95 gasoline and higher. All three units are equipped with sequential multipoint electronic injection. The only type of transmission available for all modifications is the Xtronic CVT continuously variable variator.

You can buy the Nissan Teana 2 (J32) in one of five available trim levels: Elegance, Elegance Plus, Luxury, Luxury Plus and Premium. Cars with a 3.5-liter engine are offered only in the top three versions.

The standard equipment of the Nissan Tiana includes front and side airbags for the driver and passenger, ABS, EBD, Brake Assist (emergency braking assistance system), audio system, dual-zone climate control, full power accessories, cruise control, heated front seats, light sensor, security system, immobilizer, 16-inch steel wheels, etc.

The top-end Premium package additionally includes leather upholstery, electric front seat adjustments and ventilation, a rear view camera, ESP (dynamic stabilization system), 17-inch alloy wheels, xenon headlights, a DVD player in the glove box, a BOSE audio system, leg support in front passenger seat, ionizer with air purification function, glass roof with sunroof and sunshade, etc.

The price of the Nissan Teana 2013 starts from 1,043,000 rubles for a front-wheel drive car, and the version with all-wheel drive is estimated at a minimum of 1,216,000 rubles. For the most expensive sedan with a 249-horsepower V6 engine, dealers are asking RUR 1,553,000.

The article provides an overview of the second generation Nissan Teana J32 business class sedan (2008-2014). Issues of configurations, characteristics, and performance are touched upon; a separate subsection is devoted to reviews from owners.

Since the 2nd generation Nissan Teana in the J32 body has not been assembled in Russia since 2015, the article will be especially useful for those who want to purchase this car on the secondary market.

Nissan Teana - how many generations are there?

The Nissan Teana model has been produced by the Japanese concern since 2003; in some automobile markets this brand is known under the Maxima, Cefiro or Altima brands.

As of 2016, a total of three generations have been produced, the bodies are assigned the indices J31, J32 and L33.

The name for the premium car is associated with the area; the name Teana in Italy is called a small village.

Nissan Teana second generation

The Nissan Teana J32 is based on the Nissan D platform, the main years of production of the 2nd generation are 2008-2014.

The car was assembled in the following countries:

  • China;
  • India;
  • Angola;
  • Japan;
  • Thailand;
  • Malaysia;
  • Iran;
  • Russia (since summer 2009).

Cars are still produced in India and Taiwan; for economic reasons, Teana production in St. Petersburg was discontinued in the fall of 2015.

But on the roads of Russia such a car can often be found, and on the secondary market the car is in deserved demand.

Nissan Teana J32 is a comfortable large D-class sedan, the cabin of which can comfortably accommodate five passengers.

There are not only front-wheel drive versions, but also 4x4 vehicles, but the range of diesel engines is not provided, only gasoline engines are present.

Of the gearboxes, only a continuously variable variator is available, but another transmission is not needed here; the gearbox copes well with the assigned tasks.

Teana-2 is a purely urban “resident”; it is unlikely to travel on bumpy country roads due to its low ground clearance.

The soft suspension and rich equipment make the car very comfortable, and passengers enjoy traveling in a premium car.

Engines

The Russian-assembled Teana-2 model is equipped with three types of engines – 2.5 and 3.5 liter V6 petrol power units, as well as a 2.5 liter petrol “four”.

The MR20DE 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine is also available for the Chinese market, but cars with such an internal combustion engine were not supplied to Russia.

The most common Nissan Teana engine is a 6-cylinder V-shaped 2.5 power unit with a capacity of 182 hp. With. models VQ25DE. This internal combustion engine is only available on vehicles with front-wheel drive.

Another fairly popular engine with the same volume is the 4-cylinder QR25DE, its power is 167 horsepower, and it was installed on Russian and Japanese 4x4 Teana Four cars.

And the most powerful power unit is the six-cylinder VQ35DE 248 hp engine. With. 3.5 l, it is available in the 4x2 version.

Transmission

In any configuration of a flagship car, only a continuously variable transmission CVT is installed, and this type of gearbox has a number of undeniable advantages:

  • the driver does not need to be distracted by changing gears; when accelerating with such a gearbox, the car picks up speed smoothly, without jumps or jerks;
  • the dynamics are very good, and here the variator has a clear advantage over other types of gearboxes;
  • The continuously variable transmission does not create unnecessary noise, while the engine operates in a fairly economical mode.

CVT also has a big disadvantage - the Nissan Teana variator is not highly reliable; even with the most careful operation, its service life does not exceed 170 thousand kilometers.

But the gearbox usually fails earlier, and when repairs may be needed depends on operating conditions.

Quite often, the Teana gearbox has to be repaired on the first lap; in some cases, breakdowns occur even after 30-50 thousand kilometers.

Salon and trunk

Externally, the interior of the Nissan Teana is similar to the interior of the Infiniti, but this is not surprising - the Nissan and Infiniti brands are produced by the same company.

Fabric upholstery on the seats is only available on the car in the simplest basic configuration, Elegance 2WD; all other versions have a leather interior.

The instrument panel, console and door trims are decorated with wooden inserts, the steering wheel is trimmed with leather, and in general high-quality expensive materials are used.

The richness of the interior is the hallmark of Nissan's flagship cars, and this is the brand's advantage over its competitors.

The engine on the Teana J32 is started by a button, the driver's seat is electric, there is a seat position memory function (2 settings).

Inside the car, everything is thought out to the smallest detail:

  • a comfortable seat allows the driver not to get tired while driving for many hours;
  • the control element is ergonomic, all buttons and knobs are in their place;
  • The dashboard is informative, and the soft backlight allows you to read all the information from the instruments without stress.

Sitting on the rear bench, the 1.8 m tall passenger has ample headroom and front knee room in front of the front seat.

The rear armrest is not simple, it is a real multifunctional device and is equipped with:

  • two cup holders;
  • buttons for ventilation and seat heating;
  • audio control panel;
  • rear curtain control buttons.

There is more than enough space for the front passenger.

The trunk lid on the sedan opens from the passenger compartment, on the driver's side; the volume of the luggage compartment is declared by the manufacturer to be 488 liters.

Inside, the trunk is trimmed with pile material; the internal space for transporting goods does not stand out in anything special.

Nissan Teana configuration

Teana J32 is characterized by a wealth of trim levels, from the basic Elegance to the top-end Premium Plus, and 4WD cars have their own modifications:;

  • keyless entry;
  • immobilizer
  • There are heated front seats, a front armrest, R16 steel wheels, fog lights, and side mirrors are folded electrically.

    The trunk houses a full-size spare wheel, and the steering column is height adjustable.

    The most “stuffed” Teana-2 car is in the Premium Four configuration; in addition to the listed options, there is also the following:

    • airbags (curtain type);
    • (directional stability);
    • leather interior;
    • bi-xenon;
    • automatic headlight leveling;
    • navigator;
    • bluetooth;
