Esband seamless flat drive belts
Seamless belts Esband seriesNE: working cover made of neoprene (high quality chloroprene rubber) have proven themselves in drives for woodworking equipment. In particular, they have become widely known NE series seamless belts on spindle drives of 4-sided molding planing machines of the company Weinig, like the original ones (“ native") components from model series series Unimat - Powermat - Hydromat, both old releases (sometimes 20-30 years ago) and new ones, regardless of the number of spindles (this includes all modifications of WACO).
It is also very useful for end users to know that the types of belts NE22, NE26 suitable for the vast majority of 4-sided planing machines on the Russian market, regardless of the brand, country of origin, number of spindles, and other possible modifications (both Western and Asian TMs Winner, Beaver, Nortec, and many others).
The basic range of warehouse types is given in the table below, and, starting from a spindle power of 17-22 kW, we recommend using only the NE18 type, as it is the most reliable and has minimal elongation in operation:
All seamless belts Esband antistatic, resistant to industrial oils, lubricants, gasoline, have a constant coefficient of friction, high wear resistance, and low noise in operation. Our extensive stock of this series includes over 100 lengths, in 10mm increments and taking into account a nominal length tolerance of +/- 0.5%.
The belt types in this series NE21 and NE22 are ideal for drive scoring saws of machines of different functionality, sharpening machines, grinding machines for various purposes in metalworking. As a rule, in such transmissions the belt width does not exceed 30 mm (often less), with an unfolded length of no more than 1000 mm. (usually from 400 to 700 mm).
Since the belts of this series have lateral flexibility, for self-centering of the belt when operating at high speeds, it is optimal to bomb at least one drive pulley in the transmission (if the pulleys are not equipped with limiting flanges). For some types of transmissions (including transportation), grinding one or both sides of the belt as an additional option is important.
To optimally select flat seamless belts for a specific power transmission, the following parameters must be provided:
Engine power, (kW)
. diameters of driving and driven pulleys (mm)
. center distance of pulleys (mm) - when the number of pulleys is more than 2.
. peripheral speed of drive pulley (rpm)
. operating conditions (temperature, dust, oil, etc.)
. the presence of frequent drive starts (including a sharp jump in torque to maximum) and/or sudden braking.
. to calculate complex gears, especially in cases where belts operate on both sides, a kinematic diagram with reliable center distances and pulley angles is required.
