Dependence of the mass of the crane hook suspension on its lifting capacity. Hook suspensions, pulleys for overhead cranes Crane suspension

Hook hangers are a component of such a construction item as a crane. This item is designed to grab a particular load. With the help of such a hook, the rope has the ability to connect to a load that needs to be lifted to a certain height. The so-called design of this hook varies, depending on the structure of the rope itself and the crane in particular. Later in the article we will take a closer look at crane hook hangers and their immediate features.

What does the pendant consist of?

Crane hangers from different manufacturers contain different rope blocks. This product also includes blocks with so-called bearings and traverses. All these components are secured with a metal plate. It is also worth noting that in such a suspension the rotation of the hook should be free for a smoother and more uniform lifting of the load. The weight of this product should be standard, because with its help the hook is lowered down, using only its direct weight.

The crane hanger includes a single hook. But it is worth noting that if the load that needs to be lifted weighs 50 tons or more, then a double hook is already used. This is necessary to increase the strength of the product. The hook has a special latch that acts as a safety lock and helps prevent the load from slipping out.

Classification of pendants

Specialists in the construction industry distinguish between hook hangers, and this happens as follows:

  • The first type is a difference depending on the lifting capacity of the crane itself.
  • The second type differs in the number of so-called blocks.

It is also worth noting an additional classification, which directly depends on the location of the traverse. In this case, there are normal types of pendants and shortened ones.

A normal crane suspension differs from the second type in that its traverse is connected to direct blocks. As for the shortened suspension, it has a traverse, which is located on the axis of these blocks.

It is also worth noting that the second type of pendants has an exclusively even number of blocks. In this case, the maximum load on the hooks cannot exceed three tons.

Crane hook suspension is used on certain tower cranes that specialize in the construction of large buildings.

Types of suspension data

Hook hangers also have certain types:

  • single-axle suspensions;
  • biaxial;
  • triaxial, as well as for use on block products.

Now in more detail about each type. It is not difficult to guess that the biaxial type of suspension has two axles. They are held together by certain types of bolts. On this device, the bearing is located in a place that is protected from moisture and other external pests of its material. Due to this, its durability becomes longer. With this type of suspension, the load that will be attached can rotate along a vertical axis. As we said earlier, each type of suspension has a so-called fuse.

The suspension, which already includes three axles, has two parts. But it is worth noting that the main part is attached in the form of additional material. This material contains two so-called cheeks. The block itself is attached between these cheeks.

Cargo suspensions vary in their actual size.

Cargo hangers

The design of the hook suspension can be quite varied, which also distinguishes the power of this equipment. The main difference is the weight that the hook can lift. The minimum weight is one ton, and the maximum is fifty.

When a hook is created, its mass is made such that it helps lower the hook down.

The simplest product in this case is the single-rope type. Such a device is used only for one rope, and the weight that can be lifted is minimal. Professionals consider the disadvantage of such a product to be the low weight of the rope and the hook itself in particular. The hook cannot ensure the product is lowered down independently.

Features of this material

The requirements for hook hangers are quite significant, because they are the main component of any crane. If their quality is not at the required level, the cargo may fall, and the outcome of such events may be disastrous.

It is the hook type of suspension that is the mechanism that secures the rope with the load. Only after proper fixation is a certain material raised to a height.

Also involved in the lifting process is a rope made of steel. Lifting is carried out by winding this steel rope onto a drum. The descent occurs in the opposite way.

Each suspension contains special blocks that rotate on a specific shaft, a hook and a so-called traverse. All these components are called a hook clip.

As for the duration of operation of each device, it depends on how such a product is used. Often the bypass hooks break in it. This is due to the increased friction force during operation.

conclusions

So, the hook is a means that grabs the material. This product is used on construction sites to assist large cranes. It is also quite widely used on any mechanism that specializes in lifting a certain load.

Diagram, components and operation of the hook suspension

A hook is a universal gripping device that is widely used as a working body of a lifting mechanism as an independent load-handling device (cargo cranes), end elements of slings and other load-handling devices. The hook suspension of the crane is shown in Fig. 1.7.

To prevent the removable device of the load-handling device from spontaneously falling out of the hook mouth, it is equipped with a closing device.

The hooks of portal cranes operating in seaports are not equipped with such devices; cranes transporting molten metal or liquid slag, as well as hooks on which loads are hung using flexible load-handling devices. Safety locking devices can be made in the form of spring-loaded or self-lowering latches that prevent the removable gripping device from spontaneously falling out. Safety devices (Fig. 1.8) must be equipped with the hooks of load-lifting cranes working during installation or when transporting goods in containers, tubs and other containers, as well as when working with rigid slings and grippers.

The hook suspension consists of two side cheeks connected to each other by spacer tubes and tie bolts. In the upper part of the cheeks, one or more rope blocks rotate on an axis fixedly fixed by means of crossbar bars. On some cranes, to ensure a minimum suspension length, a hook with a long shank is used, which is attached directly to the axis of the blocks. This type of suspension is called shortened. A cargo hook is secured to the lower part of the suspension on the traverse using a nut. The traverse can rotate freely in the holes of the side cheeks. A hook mounted on ball bearings, in addition to rotating around an axis, can also swing along with the traverse, which facilitates slinging and orienting loads. Depending on the number of axles, hook hangers can be one-, two-, or three-axle (Fig.).

There are single-horned and double-horned load hooks. They are made by forging or stamping from mild steel 20, which prevents sudden destruction of the hook.

The cargo hook indicates the hook number according to the state standard, the trademark, the serial number of the hook, the name of the supplier plant, the heat number, and the year of manufacture. You cannot install a hook on a crane without markings.

Hooks are rejected if:

· the hook does not rotate on the traverse;

· the hook horn is bent;

· wear of the hook in the throat exceeds 10%;

· no quality control mark;

· there are cracks.

The hook suspension of load-lifting cranes is a very important unit, therefore, when operating the crane, it is necessary to constantly monitor its condition. At each inspection, be sure to check the serviceability of the cheeks, blocks, crossbars, hooks, nuts, axles and ropes.

How to choose cargo: steel ropes, welded chains, plate chains, hemp and cotton ropes.

Steel ropes, welded and plate chains are used as flexible traction elements. Their choice depends on the purpose, operating conditions, operating mode and special requirements.

The industry produces steel wire ropes of various types, differing in design, nature and direction of lay and size of the wires.

Determination of force in a rope. According to the rules of Gosgortekhnadzor, ropes are selected according to the breaking force Sbreak specified in the standard or factory certificate, based on the ratio:

Ssazr ≥ Smax ∙ n,

where n is the safety factor, depending on the operating mode of the crane.

The greatest (maximum) tension of the traction branch of the rope, N, is calculated by the formula:

where G is the gravity force of the lifted load, N;

Unit efficiency;

m – number of blocks.

The efficiency of the block depends on the type of bearings used: when installing the block on plain bearings, the calculations can be taken = 0.94...0.96; on rolling bearings = 0.97…0.98.

Hook suspension. Types of hook hangers.

The hooks are connected to the flexible cargo element of the lifting machine either directly by attaching the flexible element to the eye of the hook (when the load is suspended on one branch), or (when the load is suspended on several branches of the flexible element) using hook hangers. If the ropes are sufficiently rigid and to overcome friction losses in the block supports, light suspensions are equipped with additional weight to ensure normal lowering of the empty hook.

Types of hook hangers

There are two types of hook hangers:

  • normal;
  • shortened.

Hook hangers

Rice. 1: a – normal, b – shortened

Normal hook suspension

In normal suspensions (Fig. 1, a), the traverse on which the hook is attached is connected to the axis of the rope blocks by cheeks made of sheet or strip steel of grade St3, calculated in the section weakened by the hole for the traverse axles, for tension according to the Lame formula:

where [σ] =σт/n, n = 3.5..4.

The crossbar has locking pads at the ends that prevent its axial movement, allowing it to rotate together with the hook relative to the horizontal axis. The hook shank passes through the hole in the traverse and is secured with a nut resting either on a spherical washer (for a load capacity of up to 3.2 tons) or on a thrust ball bearing, as in Figure 1 (for a higher load capacity). Bearings must be lubricated and protected from dirt. Thrust bearings for static load capacity are selected according to the design load, which exceeds the weight of the dead load by 25%. To prevent the nut from unscrewing spontaneously, it must be secured with a locking bar. Due to the small size of the nut, locking the nuts of hooks with a lifting capacity of up to 10 tons can be done using pins or locking bolts. The use of cotter pins is unacceptable in all cases.

Short hook hanger

In shortened suspensions (Fig. 1, b), pulley blocks are placed on elongated traverse axles. A shortened hook suspension allows the load to be lifted to a slightly greater height, but it can only be used with an even multiplicity of the pulley. The traverse is made of steel 10 or 45 and is designed for bending along the middle section, weakened by the hole for the hook shank. The safety margin for the yield strength, taking into account the complex configuration of the traverse, is assumed to be n≥3. The traverse axles are also calculated for bending and checked by the pressure between the axle and the cheek. The permissible pressure should not exceed 35 MPa to avoid scuffing of the surface when turning the traverse. To protect the rope from jumping out, the streams of the hook suspension blocks (as well as the head blocks of the crane booms) are protected by a casing made of sheet steel with a thickness of at least 3 mm (Fig. 2).

Installation of fencing on a rope block

The radial gap δ between the flanges of the block and the casing should not be more than 0.3 dк where dк is the diameter of the rope. Hook hanger casings have slots for the passage of rope; their width and length are chosen so as to eliminate friction of the rope on the casing.

Hooks, pulleys and hook hangers

Hooks are made one-horned and two-horned. One-horned. forged or stamped hooks are manufactured with a lifting capacity of up to 75 tons.

Rice. 41. Winch drum: 1 - drum shell, 2 - flange. 3 - drum hub, 4 - drum shaft;

Rice. 42. Types of hooks: a-one-horned forged, b-the same, with a boss for attaching a safety device, c-two-horned forged

Single hooks have two designs: without a boss (Fig. 42, a) and with a boss for installing a safety lock (Fig. 42, b). A safety lock (latch) is installed on the hooks to prevent the rope from spontaneously falling out of the hook mouth. In this case, the rope can only be released by the slinger when opening the safety lock. Double-horned forged hooks (Fig. 42, c) are manufactured with a lifting capacity of up to 75 tons.

Single-horn plate hooks with a lifting capacity of 37.5-175 tons and double-horn plate hooks with a lifting capacity of 100-350 tons are also used.

Plate hooks are easier to manufacture than forged ones and are more reliable, since the destruction of all plates cannot occur simultaneously, but they are heavier. The material for making the hooks is steel 20. To secure it in the load suspension of the crane, the forged hook rod in the upper part has a thread: triangular for a lifting capacity up to Yuti, trapezoidal - from Yuti above. A nut is screwed onto the thread, which is secured against possible rotation using a locking bar. Locking the nut with pins, cotter pins and locking bolts is not permitted.

Hooks have a mouth, the dimensions of which must be sufficient to accommodate ropes and chains, with the help of which the load is slung. The hooks are made rotating on closed ball bearings. The hook is suspended so that it can rotate freely and be installed during operation in accordance with the position of the load. The lower end of the nut rests on the upper race of the thrust ball bearing. All hooks must bear the manufacturer's mark indicating the load capacity.

A pulley is a lifting device consisting of several movable and fixed blocks, enclosed by a flexible body (rope or cable), which serves to gain strength when lifting heavy loads. The cranes use power pulleys to reduce the tension of the rope, the torque on the winch drum from the mass of the load and the gear ratio of the mechanism. They are the main part of the load lifting mechanism. Schemes of pulleys are shown in Fig. 43.

The blocks that form the pulley are divided into movable, the axis of which moves in space, and stationary, the axis of which does not move in space.

Rice. 43. Schemes of pulleys: a-single, b-double; t is the multiplicity of the pulley, F is the tension of the rope branches, G is the weight of the load, vK is the speed of the rope, ggr is the speed of lifting the load

Fixed guide blocks (see Fig. 43, a), installed on fixed axes, serve only to change the direction of the traction element, without giving a gain in strength and speed.

In lifting machines, single and double chain hoists are used. In a single chain hoist, one branch of the traction element is wound onto the winch drum. In overhead cranes, pulley blocks are used, in which the rope is wound onto a drum from a moving block (see Fig. 43, a).

In a double chain hoist with a leveling block, two branches of one rope are simultaneously wound onto the winch drum (see Fig. 43, b). The main parameter that determines the characteristics of a pulley is its multiplicity (gear ratio). The multiplicity of the pulley system shows what gain in strength this mechanism provides.

The multiplicity of a single pulley is numerically equal to the number of rope branches on which the load is suspended. The multiplicity of a double pulley is equal to half the number of rope branches on which the load hangs.

With a crane lifting capacity of up to 25 tons, two-, three-, and four-fold pulleys are usually used. For large load capacities, the multiplicity of the pulley system reaches 12.

The layout of the block hook suspension depends on the multiplicity and type of pulley and on the position of the leveling block. The weight of the crane suspension usually does not exceed 2-5% of its lifting capacity.

In Fig. 44, and shows the design of a block hook suspension of normal length with a pulley multiplicity of four. Such suspensions are used in cranes with a lifting capacity of 3 and 5 tons.

Blocks in hook hangers are installed on axles fixedly secured with locking bars. In a normal suspension, a hook with a short shank of type A is used, which is suspended on a separate traverse in the lower part of the suspension with the ability to rotate relative to the longitudinal axis (Fig. 44, a). In cases where the length of the suspension must be minimal, use a hook with a long shank of type B, which is attached directly to the axis of the pulley blocks. Such a pendant is called shortened (Fig. 44, b).

Hook suspension

The invention relates to hook suspensions for lifting cranes. The hook suspension includes a rope block, a traverse with a hook, restrictive cheek plates and a cargo rope. Double-armed scrapers, made in the form of a trench, are installed on brackets on the axis to the traverse. One arm of the scraper rests on an adjustable screw stop, and the other arm is in contact with the surface of the rope block strand. The outer surface of each scraper is identical to the surface of the rope block strand. Achieved is a reduction in the labor intensity of work, a reduction in time and an increase in work safety during periodic testing of cranes. 1 table, 3 ill.

The invention relates to hook suspensions for load-lifting cranes and can be used in the operation of load-lifting cranes, mainly of large lifting capacity, operating in difficult conditions.

A hook hanger is a load-handling element of a crane designed to connect a load hook to a lifting rope. In a normal hook suspension, the hook with a nut on the shank is supported by a thrust ball bearing with spherical washers on a crossbar, which is hinged in the holes of the shackles and protective shields. In the upper part of the earrings and shields there are holes in which the axis is fixedly fixed with rope pulley blocks resting on it by means of bearings. Between the shields there is a casing bent from sheet steel, which is designed to prevent the weakened rope from falling out of the block stream (M.P. Aleksandrov, L.N. Kolobov, N.A. Lobov, etc.: - Lifting machines: A textbook for universities in the specialty "Lifting and transport machines". - M.: Mashinostroenie, 1986; Nevzorov L.A., etc. Design and operation of load-lifting cranes: Textbook for beginning vocational education / Nevzorov L.A., Gudkov N.I., Polosin M.D. - M.: IRPO, "Publishing Center "Academy", 2000).

A hook suspension is known (patent RU No. 2521088 MPK B66C 1/34), which includes a pulley housing containing pulleys and a housing frame with a locking surface and a hook.

A hook suspension is also known, containing a housing in which a block with an axle and a traverse with a hook are installed (RU patent No. 2149819 MPK B66C 1/34).

A hook suspension was chosen as a prototype (Ushakov N.S. Electric bridge cranes. - 4th ed., revised and supplemented. - Leningrad: Mechanical Engineering, Leningrad Department, 1980, pp. 51-52), containing interconnected with the help of a traverse and restrictive cheek plates, movable bypass rope blocks with a stream under the cargo rope and a cargo crane hook mounted on thrust bearings.

To ensure safe operation and confirm operability, all mechanisms of load-lifting cranes, including hook hangers, are subject to periodic technical inspection.

During operation, all hook hangers, including the hook hanger adopted for the prototype, are subject to periodic inspection and repair, the purpose of which is to identify and eliminate faults and defects, including defects formed on the rope block, these are:

Presence of cracks in flanges or spokes;

Chipping on flanges;

Presence of a rope imprint on the stream;

Presence of cracks on the block hub;

Reducing the thickness of the stream wall by 15-20% of the original thickness.

The indicated defects can only be detected on a rope block whose stream is cleared of dust, dirt and coked lubricant. The rope block stream is cleaned manually. This is difficult and, at times, unsafe work, since in order to completely clean the surface of the rope block stream (especially large diameter) with a limited access area to the surface of the stream, the worker, working with a hand tool from a stepladder or from a stand of variable height, must agree with the crane operator on the frequency of switching on - turning off the hook suspension lifting mechanism. The table shows the dependence of the lifting height to which a worker must rise to clean the surface of the stream, depending on the diameter of the rope block.

This is a disadvantage of both analogues and the prototype.

The objective of the invention is to reduce labor intensity, reduce the time for assessing the performance of hook suspension rope blocks and increase work safety.

This goal is achieved by the fact that on the hook suspension of a load-lifting crane, containing movable bypass rope blocks interconnected by means of a traverse and restrictive cheek plates with a stream under the cargo rope and a cargo crane hook mounted on thrust bearings, on the restrictive cheek plates of the rope suspension above Each rope block, in an area free of the cargo rope, has a scraper mounted on the brackets, made in the form of a two-armed chute, the outer surface of which is identical to the profile of the rope block stream, with one shoulder supported on an adjustable screw stop, and the other in contact with the surface of the rope block stream .

Distinctive features of the invention are its design features, namely:

On the limiting cheek plates of the hook suspension above each rope block in the area free from the cargo rope, a scraper is installed on brackets;

The scraper is made in the form of a two-armed chute;

The outer surface of the scraper is identical to the profile of the rope block stream;

One arm of the scraper is supported by an adjustable screw stop, and the other is in contact with the surface of the rope block strand.

The set of distinctive features provides a solution to the problem.

The essence of the invention is illustrated by the drawing, where in FIG. 1 shows a general view of the hook suspension, Fig. 2 - section AA in Fig. 1, in fig. 3 - section of the BB in Fig. 1.

Hook suspension 1 includes a rope block 2, a traverse with a hook 3, restrictive cheek plates 4 and a cargo rope 5. To the traverse 4, on brackets 6 on the axis 7, two-armed scrapers 8 are installed, made in the form of a gutter, one shoulder of which rests on an adjustable screw stop 9, and the other shoulder is in contact with the surface of the rope block 2. The outer surface of each scraper is identical to the surface of the rope block 2. The scraper 8 is preferably made of a material that has a low sliding friction coefficient and is highly wear-resistant, for example, caprolon. The scraper 8 is installed on the limiting cheek plates 4 of the hook suspension 1 or in the factory during the manufacture of the hook suspension, with adjustment before carrying out work on periodic inspection and repair of the crane, or in a workshop environment immediately before carrying out these works.

Initial position and preparation of the device for operation.

Brackets 6 are fixed to the limiting cheek plates 4. The hook suspension 1 is lowered down. When the scrapers 8 are lowered down, screw stops 9 are adjusted so that their second arm comes into contact with the surface of the rope block 2.

Operation of the device for cleaning the rope block stream 2.

At the worker’s command, the crane operator uses the crane lifting mechanism to lift the hook suspension 1 upward. In this case, the rope blocks 2 are driven into rotation. Scraper 8, mounted motionless relative to the rotating rope block 2, cleans the surface of the stream and directs the cleaned material, usually of a thick consistency, into the scraper groove. The hook suspension is lifted to a height of up to

where D is the diameter of the rope block.

When the hook suspension is lowered down, the cleaned material is held in the scraper chute 8. This material is then removed from the scraper chute and disposed of. Next, the cleaned rope block 2 is examined to identify defects.

The proposed design of a hook suspension for a load-lifting crane can significantly reduce the labor intensity of work, including reducing physical stress, reducing time and increasing safety.

Hook suspension of a load-lifting crane, containing movable bypass rope blocks connected to each other by means of a traverse and limiting plates-cheeks with a stream under the cargo rope and a cargo crane hook mounted on thrust bearings, characterized in that on the cheeks of the rope suspension above each rope block in the zone, free from the cargo rope, a scraper is installed, made in the form of a two-armed chute, the outer surface of which is identical to the profile of the rope block stream, while one shoulder is supported by an adjustable screw stop, and the other is in contact with the surface of the rope block stream.

· the hook does not rotate on the traverse;

· the hook horn is bent;

· wear of the hook in the throat exceeds 10%;

· no quality control mark;

According to the rules of Gosgortekhnadzor, ropes are selected according to the breaking force S, specified in the standard or factory certificate, based on the ratio:

S size ≥ S max ∙ n,

where n is the safety factor, depending on the operating mode of the crane.

The greatest (maximum) tension of the traction branch of the rope, N, is calculated by the formula.

Hook suspension (hook suspension for crane)- a part of a lifting mechanism, which is a system of a hook and a hook, which are connected to a crossbeam and cast parts.

The main purpose is to connect the lifting rope to the load hook, i.e. for hanging a load on a crane load rope.

When designing, the mass of the hook suspension is selected so that it lowers under the weight of its own force, without load.

The hook suspension device is a composite part, therefore, for fault diagnosis and rejection, methods and standards developed for the elements that make it up are used. The main wear in the crane hook suspension is in the parts of hooks and blocks, each of which has its own rejection standards:

Correction of defects if crane hangers fail is not allowed; if they are detected, the hanger must be replaced.
