How are alloy wheels made?

Forged wheels are the most expensive, despite the fact that the same materials are used in their production as in casting. But the higher price is due to their better characteristics obtained through the special technology used in production. A 15-inch disc, for example, weighs about 6-7 kg, and a cast one weighs 2-3 kg more. At the same time, forged wheels do not abound in a variety of shapes and complexity of patterns. Such discs made in Russia will cost 3-3.5 thousand rubles, while imported ones are much more expensive.
